Reinforcement of tunnels

The experience of reinforcement of tunnels was gained in the underground mines of northern Sweden, where the underground settlements are as deep as 1,500 meters, and the total length of the tunnels cut into the rock is over 1,000 kilometers.

As the structure of the rocks is not always sufficiently stable and strong, it must be strengthened to avoid displacement. Therefore, we drill (both by hand and with drilling machines), and mount all types of cemented anchors, and then install reinforcing mesh.

This type of work is also applied to road construction, where roads are built into cliffs.
